These are a few pics of our nursery furniture that Nick picked up from Laura at "Rethunk Junk". I think they are just adorable. They turned out even better than I had expected.
I had been stalking C.raigsl.ist for what seemed like ages and came across this older furniture (10 years or so) that I thought would fit perfectly in the space available in the nursery. (Two cribs really do take up lots o' room.)
We worked a deal and got both pieces for a steal (and they also threw in a full-size headboard, frame, and a glider with ottoman. Nothing gorgeous, but still a good deal!)
Here are the "before" pics...kinda dirty and a bright white...too white to match the cribs.

Here are the "after" pics...Laura really did a GREAT job!

I need to straighten up the ribbons (they got a little wind blown on the way home), but I think we are off to a good start (even Gracie Dog thinks so)!
I think they look great for around $300 total!
Hopefully the nursery will be finished in the very near future and I will be able to post the final product! Looking forward to that!
In other news...
- I start half-days at work tomorrow...thank goodness! Woo-hoo!
- Breastfeeding Multiples class yesterday...poor Nick was a good husband and went along for the ride. What a waste of time and money. I told Nick that he at least got to see boobies (pics and video)...his response..."Yea, but they weren't "good boobs". Whatever. (More to come on this one.)
- I had another fabulous shower today...and yes...there were (get the K.leenex) tears. (More to come on this one too.)
- My recliner delivery has been delayed to an April 1st ship date. Annoying.
- These babies are HEAVY and I feel like one of them might plop out at any moment...although so I am told it doesn't happen that way.
- My feet are large and puffy...even having a hard time getting the C.rocs to fit. Yikes.
- I am 32 weeks today! YAY!
I will try to update regularly this week...of course AFTER my afternoon bedrest! Big Smile:)

The furniture looks awesome! So great to see you yesterday. :-)
Yeah! I love it!
(I, too, thought the breastfeeding class was a waste of time. I didn't do "multiples", though. Still a waste). Did they mention that a super-fab breast pump might be paid 100% by insurance? The perks of fertility treatments... the deductible is usually already met (definitely by the time the babes get here!)!!!
Wow, that furniture is amazing! I absolutely, positively love it! I'm a sucker for personalization in general and to have the names on the furniture...too sweet!
The nursery is looking great!
Love the furniture. Love that Gracie likes it too. I am super happy for you girly!!
