Whew. Glad today is over with.
First appointment this morning was with the perinatologist. Different to have the ultrasound "on" instead of well..."in"...but that doesn't matter.
What does matter is the doctor said the babies look great and he doesn't see anything to be worried about, but they will follow up with the bloodwork results in about a week. YAY!
Nick told on me about being an obsessive "Goo.gler" and they gave me the ol' role of the eyes like..."Oh....you are one of those people."
Yes...and I wear my fake Goo.gle doctor badge proudly...thank you very much.
After the doctor we went to (gasp) look at double strollers and cribs. I must admit...it was kinda fun and I love the fact that gliders are placed every 5 steps you take. Of course...I had to test out every single one. They are so awesome...everyone should have one...baby or not.
We then made a detour through Buc.khead to get a walnut chicken salad sandwich. So delicious.
(Not an important fact in terms of this blog, but it was so incredibly tasty I just couldn't leave it out.)
Second appointment was with my new OB. I am glad I made the switch. I really liked the doctor and everyone I came in contact with today was super nice.
Nick again mentioned the obsessive "goo.gling" and if I wasn't in a compromised position at the moment, I probably would have kicked him. Not everyone needs to be aware of my compulsion.
The doctor told me to stop and jokingly stated that "she won't come tell me how to do my job if I don't tell her how to do hers." I laughed it off, but inside I was thinking..."Look...I haven't told you how to do your job. At least not yet!"
So for now I can breathe a little sigh of relief. We go back in 2 weeks to the OB and 3 weeks to the high-risk doctor and hopefully we can get a gender report. (They wouldn't even indulge that question today...oh well.)
Oh...oh...oh... and no more met.formin! Woo-hoo!
