I have decided to shop around.
I have made appointments at two other Atlanta-area infertility specialists. So now I have 3 REs. Three heads are better than one right?
Don't get me wrong. I like my current RE. Like not love.
I just want to see what the others are like and here's why.
First appt...9:30 am.
This guy spoke on behalf of the infertility community at the State Capitol during the whole SB 169 debacle. I loved him...he so was passionate about what he does. My husband said anyone would be passionate if their livelihood was on the line. How else are they gonna make that BMW payment? Whatever...I love him...at least I loved him during the committee hearing. So we are gonna give him a shot.
Second appt...2:00 pm
I am going here for no other reason than I am a sucker for a bargain. They are offering a "Buy One Get One Free IVF"!
Can you believe it?
Well...it is really more like "if-it-doesn't-work-the-first-time-we-will-let-you-do-it-again-without-asking-you-for-a-second-small-fortune" type of buy one get one free.
But hey...I am risk averse so a 2nd chance makes me feel better.
In the meantime, we continue to look for ways to get us to the $15,000 (including meds) needed without having to finance. Stay tuned.

Good idea. If I was earlier in the process I'd do the exact same thing!
This is the smartest possible thing you could do. I jumped the gun and went with the first one...and I'm pretty content at this point.
