You mean to tell me I could go into... L-A-B-O-R?

Whoa nellie...not anytime soon! (Well...hopefully.)

26 week OB check-up today.
Everything was lovely...two strong heartbeats and nice fluid surrounding both babies. They have both turned and are now both transverse with heads on the same side. Baby A's placenta is still a little low...which artificially got my hopes up. I was hoping to convince someone (anyone) that it would be okay for me to deliver in Week 36...that way it is right after my Spring Break and no going back to work. However, that didn't happen.

Week 37 it is...but the doctor said to look at it as a "not past this point" date. She said you might go into L-A-B-O-R before then. When she said it it was like watching the kid from The Sandlot saying F-O-R. E-V. E-R.

What? I will not be going into labor. I am going to skip that step. I mean really...what is the point of a "scheduled C-section" then? Labor? Nope, not me. Had not even crossed my mind until today.

Don't get me wrong...labor was still in the cards until a vaginal birth was ruled out because of the low placenta...but heck...that seems like ages ago! Holy Cow...freaking out here. I guess it just hasn't truly entered my mind until today. This should get interesting.

I also had my first "exam" today because I mentioned I was feeling a little leaky. Note to self...who cares about leaky...leaky is a state of mind. That exam was heinous. Turns out everything was A-OK and apparently I am just a leaky kind of girl. (Yes...TMI I know.)

I go back in 2 weeks for my glucose test and another scan of the babies. I also have my perinatologist appt that day. Busy day in Babyland!

We also scheduled our "hospital tour" and signed up for a Breastfeeding Multiples class. All I can say is that it better be one darn good class...this girl is still needing a little convincing in that department...despite knowing all of the benefits!

Here are some pics from today...

Those are some ridiculously cute baby ultrasound pics!

I vote for no labor and that you make it to 37. Yes, I know, easy for me to say since I'm not carrying them, but I have my reasons, girl!

Gosh, aren't those "exams" rediculous?! It's like they are checking your tonsils!
