First things first...
Happy Valentine's Day!
Rather uneventful for us this year...we are just spending time around the house trying to get things crossed of the "to-do" list. Unfortunately, the only successful thing I did yesterday was nap. Nick did get the other window in and today he will work on the trim. Sw-eet.

We finally ordered a glider/recliner. We looked and looked and looked some more, but decided to go with the expensive leather one. Sweet. It is a little big for the nursery, so in the living room it will go (which is just fine). I struggled with the fact that we were getting a big fluffy man chair, but after sitting it in multiple times...I was sold. I am just too big for those teeny tiny cutesy tootsy chairs that I wanted so badly. I am too tall for them (which results in a great view of the ceiling when I lean my head back) and any attempt at holding two babies at one time in them would probably have resulted with one of them falling overboard and hitting the floor. So...big cushy man chair it is. But, I must say...of all the big fluffy man chairs I have seen...this one looks the best. Sweet!
Not so sweet...having to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery. I could sleep in that thing yesterday!
My sister graciously agreed to go to Tar-jay to help me add a few more things to my registry. Thank goodness she did...I had to keep sitting down. She wanted me to get one of the electric carts to ride around on...but I refused. Maybe next time though. She was so sweet that she would pick things out and carry them to me for approval and ultimately a scan. So sweet.
My mom and I hit up a "high end" consignment sale in the Atlanta area the other day. First of all, my mom was sweet enough to go with me. I don't think I could have done it by myself. I have gotten to that point where I tire easily (ok...been there for awhile) but my feet also swell if I stand for any period of time. Let me just tell you...consignment shoppers are crazy. People were carrying around laundry baskets to put all of their stuff in. And this stuff wasn't inexpensive...we purchased about 8 items or so and paid almost $200. Some of these people had to have spent $1000 or more. Whoa. But...we came home with some really cute stuff...some new and some "consigned".
At work on Friday, we dismissed an hour early because of the snow. Sweet! Suprisingly we had a decent amount for the Atlanta area. Anyway, I received a package in county mail from a friend and former co-worker at my old school. Baby stuff! What a nice surprise! She said she couldn't resist buying it (which is saying a lot b/c she and her husband are big Georgia Tech fans), but she had to get it out of the house fast because the couldn't stand looking at all the red and black in her house. I am wondering if the yellow stuffing was her way of balancing out the equation? So sweet of her!

Last week I had 3 friends give birth to 3 healthy babies (one of them was an IVF #4) at 3 different hospitals in the Atlanta area. So sweet. I cannot wait to meet all of them! Congrats girls! I also had another friend get a positive beta...so happy for her too!
Upcoming events...
Hospital Tour - Monday night
Perinatologist visit -Tuesday
Glucose Screening and OB Check - Tuesday
Can't wait to get another glimpse at these little babies. :)
