There's No Crying in Baseball...

...but there is crying when you drop your babies off at Mother's Morning Out!

Parker and Caroline had their first day of MMO yesterday (and yes we are braving it again tomorrow) and let me tell you...it was rough. Those poor babies did not want me to leave them and I sure as heck didn't want to leave them once they began to have that look of panic in their eyes!

One of the teachers asked me if they would stop crying. My response? I hope so.

I'm not really sure they did.

When I got there to pick them up they were not actively crying but did have tears in the ol' peepers. Of course, my children were monopolizing all 3 teachers while the other kids were hanging out in the background. Ms. Irene was holding Parker, Ms. Janet was holding Caroline, and Ms. Betty was wiping Caroline's nose.

My poor babies.

Here's hoping it goes more smoothly tomorrow.
(Nick and I both get to drop them off tomorrow. Nick's grandpa sadly passed away early Tuesday morning and the funeral is tomorrow.)

Here are a few pics of the day. I plan to get some more tomorrow b/c it was rainy and yucky Tuesday so we were stuck inside for pics.

The Backpacks...

Playing before we left and practicing opening our sippy cups...

Parker Man...I was lucky to get him to be semi-still for this shot!

How cute! I can only imagine how hard it is to leave them crying. It sounds like they are in good hands though.

Love their little backpacks.

I hope they get use to MMO. :)

Amy, I swear - I could have written this SAME blog back when HC started MMO. She cried. I cried. And when I got back to pick her up, they were holding her while she still had a serious case of the sniffles. And this went on for a good week +. By now, I'm sure it's better for them. But I cried for a solid week too... so I feel your pain and COMPLETELY understand!!!!!

Those backpacks are adorable!

As for MMO, we tried Parents Morning Out when they were 18 months and for two weeks they cried and cried...it just wasn't working. I crumbled and took them out and tried again 6 months later, they loved it. It does get easier, so keep at it!
