Oh...if were just that simple.
My little sister saw a commercial for Activia Yogurt the other day and apparently the actress was pregnant. She called me up and told me I needed to get that yogurt so I could have a baby. "That Activia Yogurt makes you pregnant," she told me. "Go get some right now!"
Well, I have still yet to get the yogurt and therefore (duh) I am not pregnant. Oh well. I had to explain to her that I didn't think it was the yogurt that made that lady pregnant and just left it at that. She seemed satisfied with my explanation. Whew! No birds and the bees talk that day.
In the meantime, I am surrounded by yogurt eaters, but that's okay. I am excited that so many of my friends are having babies...not so excited that so many of my students are. (I swear yogurt must have been on the menu in the school cafeteria.)
We are planning on starting IVF this summer when I have no school and nothing to do but harvest some eggs, produce healthy embryos, and then act as an incubator to get those little darlings to grow. (Sounds like I am hatching baby chicks for a science project...nice!)
So...if you see me at the store in May stocking up on yogurt...you'll know what I'm up to. ;)

Tell Katie that I'm surprised that she has never gotten the birds and bees speech yet :-) and give Madison a hug for me!! Hang in there, God has something very special planned for you I am sure. You and Nick will make amazing parents.
